Comprehensive compositional analysis of natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, and petrochemical products using industry-standard ASTM, GPA, and API methods. SPL’s hydrocarbon laboratories support custody transfer, regulatory reporting, product quality verification, and process optimization for upstream and midstream operations.

Testing for refined petroleum finished products, specialty fuels, aviation fuels, diesel, gasoline, and industrial and commercial lubricants. SPL’s fuels and lubricants laboratory serves refiners, distributors, manufacturers, and fleet operators who need accurate data for rapid product certification, compliance, and quality assurance in both commercial and military applications.

Flow Assurance

Highly specialized laboratory equipment and capabilities to support deepwater flow assurance and corrosion applications, subsea applications and delivery qualification, and consulting for production optimization. SPL’s flow assurance team performs industry-leading studies on hydrates, paraffin, asphaltenes, scale, emulsions, and fluid rheology, with findings interpreted by subject matter experts to drive optimal field performance.
