We perform JFTOT testing, which simulates fuel performance during turbine operation and is used to assess deposits that form when jet fuel touches a heated surface. ASTM D3241 covers the procedure for rating the tendencies of gas turbine fuels to deposit decomposition products within the fuel system.
Sample quantity required: 600 ml (Note: More sample is required if the test is modified to run for an extended period.)
