We perform fuel quality testing by ASTM D5188 to determine the vapor-liquid ratio of gasoline and gasoline-oxygenate blends. The vapor-liquid ratio of fuel indicates the fuel’s tendency to vaporize in automotive engine fuel systems. Automotive fuel specifications generally include vapor-liquid ratio limits to ensure the suitable volatility performance of fuel. This vapor-liquid ratio limit will vary depending on the ambient temperatures where the fuel is expected to be used.
Sample quantity required: 1 liter (1000 ml)
