Fuels & Lubricants Testing Capabilities

ASTM D95 (Water by Distillation in Petroleum Products & Bituminous Materials)

We perform lubricants testing by ASTM D95 to measure the water content in petroleum products, tars, and other bituminous materials by distillation. Knowing the water content of petroleum products is important in the refining, purchase, sale, and transfer of products. Water Content by ASTM D95 determines the water content in the range from 0 to 25 % volume.

We also perform water content, water contamination, and water resistance testing by ASTM D1264, ASTM D1401, ASTM D1533, ASTM D1744, ASTM D1796, ASTM D2709, ASTM D4006, ASTM D4007, ASTM D4049, ASTM D4928, ASTM E203, FTM 3463, IP 386, ISO 10337, ISO 3733, and IP 74. These different test methods use different instruments or procedures or are used for certain sample types. Sample quantity required: 100 ml

ASTM D95 corresponds to ISO 3733 and IP 74.
