Acid Number Test

We perform lubricants testing by SAE ARP5088 to determine the total acid number of new and degraded polyol ester and diester based gas turbine lubricants. This test uses a potentiometric titration technique. The total acid number can be used to assist in the assessment of a lubricant during condition monitoring and for quality assurance or specification verification.

We also perform acidity and acid number testing by ASTM D1613ASTM D3242ASTM D664ASTM D7795ASTM D847ASTM D974IP 139IP 177IP 354ISO 6618, and ISO 6619. These different test methods use different instruments or procedures or are used for certain sample types.
