High Temperature Deposition Test (HTDT)

We perform the Alcor High Temperature Deposition Test to evaluate the oil coking of aviation lubricants. The sample is run on an Alcor instrument that simulates lubricant flow through hot section lines. The test results are assessed by the weight and type of deposit formed by running the liquid sample over the outside of a heated stainless steel tube (also called heater tubes).

Sample quantity required: 2 liters (2000 ml)
