Stopping greenhouse gas emissions at the source.

LEAK DETECTION AND REPAIR (LDAR)

Equipment prone to leaks, such as valves, pumps, and connectors account are a significant source of emissions containing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs). SPL utilizes OGI (Optical Gas Imaging) cameras to identify and quantify Fugitive emissions leaks from oil and gas facilities. We have a veteran team of FLIR-certified LDAR technicians that can mobilize within hours to provide immediate leak detection services anywhere from the north slope of Alaska to the inner waters of Louisiana. Our OGI camera operators meet all new training requirements set forth in the Environmental Protection Agency’s OOOOb/c and have a deep understanding of the changes. This enables our technicians to ensure our customers meet their regulatory requirements. We have partnered with Arolytics for their cloud based emissions management software, Aroviz. Through this adoption, our customers are able to seamlessly connect, track, and manage their oil and gas emissions data and activities in a central system. Customers are able to quickly receive alerts, store data, review videos, and trend data over time to quantify results.

EMISSIONS MEASUREMENT

Pioneered by SPL, Flash Liberation is a laboratory technique that directly measures the gas to oil ratios in pressurized hydrocarbon liquids. This innovative method offers real-time precision, eliminating the need for intermediary steps and providing accurate insights into the complex composition of hydrocarbon samples. This method has redefined hydrocarbon analysis, enhancing efficiency in laboratories and empowering industries with advanced solutions.

PROCESS SIMULATION

SPL employs cutting-edge process simulation software to model and predict facility emissions accurately, utilizing measured inputs from our advanced laboratories. This technology allows us to anticipate and analyze various emission scenarios, providing you with valuable insights for optimizing operations and ensuring environmental compliance. Our commitment to integrating state-of-the-art technology with laboratory expertise underscores our dedication to delivering innovative solutions for environmental stewardship and operational excellence.

POLLUTANTS ANALYSIS

We routinely analyze gas samples to identify and quantify hazardous air pollutants (HAPS) known for their impact on human health. Our advanced processes enable the precise detection of even trace amounts of these pollutants. This commitment goes beyond analysis; it empowers decision-makers with actionable data for effective pollution control and mitigation strategies, contributing to a healthier and safer environment.
